Insta Video

I was up quite late last night when I saw an update for instagram with their new video feature. And I thought, okayy... cause' I wasn't really into shooting videos. I don't like filming myself on video in general, had no idea why. xD

But instagram made video filming real easy, and I gotta say I'm kind of impressed. Video cuts can be made by just letting go the shutter. Ain't it cooooll??
 Best of all, I could see Xiaxue's baby Dash in actionnnnn. Makes him even cuter than he is in Xiaxue's insta photos! I also love it where Insta gets you to pick your own filter for the video.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY RESOLUTIONS

I'm trying to make it a point that I won't be lying around the house doing nothing this holiday. 3 weeks is a really long time.

So here are some of my resolutions I wish to accomplish during the holidays, at least I have goals set up for myself to avoid myself from being bored and wasting time.

1. Catch up with my Further Maths
I can honestly say I didn't really put in enough effort for my further maths. Instead before exams I've put in more effort in Pure Maths cause' it was easier. So yeah, going hardcore in math this holiday.

2. Master my parking skills. 
Yes, I STILL SUCK AT PARKING. After driving my mother's Mitsubishi Pajero for a few months, I still CANNOT park my car properly. Maybe that's because the damn car to so friggin big that I had to be extra careful. Plus, it isn't really easy to drive a four-wheeled-drive for a newbie driver like me. Speaking of cars, I'll be getting my own car in maybe a few weeks time, a SMALLER ONE! (finally!) Will updating on that as well.

3. Finish all my new Sophie Kinsella books
As some of you may know I bought some Madeleine Wickham books using the 1Malaysia Vouchers few months ago, but since I am super busy with tests and all the shitty exams I never had time to start on all of my new novels. I SUPER SUPER LOVE SOPHIE KINSELLA'S BOOKS that's why I'll read them first before the others.

4. Go to Singapore.
Okay, I do that almost every year. But this one's optional, this one depends on whether my dad allows me to go. *fingers crossed*

5. Finish watching HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER
Finished season 1 and 2 already, now halfway through Season 3. I was even too impatient to watch Season 8's finale to see who the mother is. Upcoming season is the last season already :(

6. Finish Glee season 3. 
I stopped watching Glee since last year, or maybe before that. Then I got the new episodes from my friends. SO YAY! Glee marathon during the holidays.

7. Go shopping (Maybe?)
Optional resolution :D I like shopping :D

8.Go K-drama crazy : WINTER, THE WIND BLOWS
I started watching it few months ago, then I stopped watching cause I got lazy to open my computer, and there was exams lol

9. Lastly, BLOG MORE. 
This blog needs more life into it! I love blogging, really,but I just need to get motivated a little bit.

Hopefully, I won't procrastinate as much as I used to.

Superhero Fiesta.

This blog has been super super super abandoned for like more than a month now. Gosh I really don't have the motivation to blog anymore. But I'm trying my best though, or else I wouldn't be here already. Lots of things has happened for the past month. Finals for this semester just ended last Friday. And i gotta say I'm super super relieved, even though some subjects nearly killed me to the brink. Got my Further maths results today though. Expected results but it wasn't very very satisfying, mainly it's because I stressed out like crazy few hours before the exam til I nearly cried, seriously. I've never been THAT nervous for an exam in my entire life. It kinda affected me during the exam. It took some time for me to recover while I'm taking my test, thank God I managed to answer questions on topics I've worked on. Sadly, topics I didn't cover properly didn't make it for me to answer.

I know I might be one of the most irresponsible bloggers on earth.I was really really busy lately. I have tons of pictures waiting to made good use. 

Let's start off with the last day of exam. Went to Chian Chyi's house right after my last paper. Super hero Fiesta starts at night and we have hours before the party starts. So went to CC's house to chill because I couldn't go home due to transport problems.  

This gal drove us out to 7 eleven for ice cream. LOL! Good to know I'm her second passenger. haha

Went back to INTI to find Jia ying. Then went over to her house to kill time, We seriously had so much time before the party started haha!

Catching Up

Honestly I can't really take it any longer Imma have to say it. So here it goes, brace yourselves for plain words in this post.

Taking A levels was a lot harder than I thought. Since I'm the kind of person who doesn't keep a constant momentum by revising what I've learnt in classes everyday, it is starting to get really really tough. We've had our first test in March, that is before our sem break. I'm telling ya, I did real bad for only my first test, not to mention for a person like me who takes Further Maths. It's like I feel like this subject is way too important than my other 3 subjects that I have this fear of screwing up until I give most of my time putting effort in Further Maths and therefore neglecting the other 3 subjects. That's pretty much what made me screw so bad during my first test. 

Since my first test started, tests are gonna be flowing in on us every month now. I just had my first test only a month ago and my 2nd test has already started for Math and Further math. Like WTH, our first test just ended and I already have to worry about the upcoming test already but it's good that Math subjects are over and yes i felt relieved. The two main subjects that gives me stress ended today. Sadly I can't really put my foot down, yet. I am not surprised if there is another test coming like a month from now. 

I'm not really used to having so many tests this often since because during secondary school we have tests/exams every 2 months. therefore only 4 exams each year. 

I don't know how I could survive this. I'm even getting huge pimples now. I've never gotten huge pimples due stress before. :((

But still, I gotta power through it. Always thought after SPM is freedom like never before but no, this is the beginning of how REAL education's like. 

Still, I know this sounds so mainstream, but LIFE GOES ON.

Random

Life in college is getting better honestly. Sometimes for the past few months i have to admit i do feel kind of lonely when i have like 3 or 4 hour breaks. cause some of my friends are in my class and I don't take same subjects as they do.

Best of all, being a Jan intake student has its advantages. We got 1Malaysia vouchers few months ago. 250 ringgit babehh! I even asked my parents to take me to Borders during the weekend after I got the vouchers. Even have queue for so long to get the vouchers since everybody is entitled to get it.

Bought so quite a number of books in one shot. Usually when it comes to books I only buy like one a time cuz maybe I was too scared if I get too many I'd get too lazy to finish them all and it'd be a waste a money. So this time since my vouchers are worth so much i bought a lot more than usual. I still haven't finished using them by the way lol. 

Currently reading the Christmas wedding. Lol noticed that my other books are still wrapped in plastic? haha

The red is gone. Just gone. Now my hair is like brown in colour. To bo honest it wasn't as bad as thought. At least it didn't really fade into a colour i dont't like.

INTI's Easter day celebration. I had a four hour break so I thought I'd help out some of my friends who were in charge of the event. It was quite fun though, and also tiring. Not to mention I had no energy to attend my next class. lol

Jxhia's Yadah review.

Jxhia was asked to do a review for Yadah's beauty/facial products. Since this girl who puts in a lot of effort in taking good care of her face (unlike me) and resulting with no blackheads at all, she decided to use the products on me who apparently couldn't care less to use any beauty products, and yeah, I do have a lot of blackheads. Bare in mind that you might feel disgusted after looking up-close at my skin.

New hair

My highlights i did last year went really really wrong, the color of my highlights really faded until it turned orange, which by the way is one of my least favourite colors. Then my sister started commenting on ho ugly my hair looked on honestly i felt slightly offended because she was right, it turned into some shitty color. which I didnt really like.

So, i decided to cover all the highlights and went for dying my entire hair.
and it looks like this.

 

The color I went for is pink, yeah i know my hair isn't THAT pink but it was intentional. Turns out part of my highlights turned slightly pink after dying, I'm really likin it. This time I went to different place to get my hair done. I dont wanna go back to the place where they used cheap dye on me for my highlights. plus, it also made my hair super dry. :( 

Hopefully this color won't fade til it makes me wanna shave my head off. haha kidding la I'm not as crazy as Britney Spears used to be. hahah

DRIVING.

FINALLY! After 3 whole months of crazy driving lessons, putting up with my driving teacher's crazy temper, What I've been anticipating for, i finally got my driving license. BUT, the so called freedom wasn't what i expected. Turns out my dad don't feel like getting me a car until I'm properly stabled. Instead, I have to practice with my mother's four-wheeled-drive Mitsubishi Pajero. I know what you're thinking, beginner driver driving a big-assed four wheel drive. Turns out i have no choice. We only have one car cause only my mom is around while my dad is working overseas. So no point having two cars. :)

 Guess I'm too brave to put up my license with my ugly picture from three years ago. haha. 

So I started out by going for the undang kursus with Jean Teen. To be honest I really wasted like 6 hours of my time going for that kursus but it is compulsory so I didn't really have a choice. Then after my Bali trip we went for our undang test, which is like our theory test for driving that requires studying. Its like going back to the days when I'm struggling to prepare for my Sejarah exam. 

I failed my first undang test while Jean teen passed, It was kind of embarrassing and I kinda got a lecture from my parents saying I don't take things seriously. but thank god I passed the second time.

Practical test was quite easy for me. Passed one shot the first time.

Then there comes my SPM results, surprisingly, i got 6As haha. Compared to others at college, I didn't do that well, everyone else got like straight As. Kind of intimidating in some ways. But anyways, my dad told me before SPM if I get 6As and above he'll get my anything I want. So, I made my move to ask him to get me a car. Good thing he promised, but I'll only get to pick out my car in June. and sadly, I am only getting a second-handed car. Better than nothing though.

College

Currently waiting for mom to pick me up, since I am gonna ditch studying I'm just gonna make this blog alive since I realized I have kinda been neglecting it already. 

After 11 whole years of schooling, finally it has come to this; COLLEGE.
I seriously have never ever thought seeing myself in a learning environment where you can wear your own clothes and bring your phones to school but pure strict school rules, school uniform and annoying teachers.

Now here it is, getting into the brink of what i am meant for.
I'm studying in INTI international college. It's kinda far from home that i have to go through heavy traffic almost every single day, Only 5 of us from CDK went into INTI. 4 of us taking A-Levels and another one taking diploma in Business. Since I wanna major and Economics in University, I took 4 subjects ; Chemistry, Physics, Maths and Further Maths(Economics Universities prefer taking in F.Maths students, somehow. )

My first day at college was sort of okay, I don't have to wake up earlier than usual for school anymore :D I have to admit when I passed by PCGHS I felt kind of sad. I miss wearing my school uniform, having a tight ponytail on my hair, and all the unreasonable school rules. :'( call me crazy, but I do miss all of that. my first class : Further maths. Not a really good subject to start off my first day of college you may think, but it was okay, at least there's a slight warm up to prepare for the subject.
I even felt lucky that I ended up in the same class as my former school mates for Chemistry and Physics. Otherwise I will be extremely lost starting off my first day as I don't know most of the people from other schools. (I'm a little bit terrible at making new friends)

There will be breaks in between classes. Sometimes we even get breaks for FOUR HOURS :(
Since I can't drive, I can't get out of the college. 4 painful hours of boredom. Sure, it's a good time to finish your homework do some studying, but i want to go home and take naps one leh.

I also really miss my friends :((( most of them are taking FORM 6 after getting SPM results.
it's my third week here already. good news is I finally made some new friends and got used to the environment already. Long path ahead.

 

2013

It's the new year, wow. Like how everyone says, TIME FLIES.
Unbelievable that how time passes so fast that I have already finished schooling already. 11 freaking years with just a blink of an eye.

School started today. Whereas for me, NO MORE SCHOOL YO! That awesome feeling when everybody has to get up at 6.00 in the morning while you still could sleep your way through the entire morning. That was... kind of what I did today. But my holidays won't last long.
Just only last Saturday I enroll myself to attend college for A-levels in INTI COLLEGE. I heard it is gonna be quite tough cause the exam board is from England. Gotta study hard. Adding that to my new year resolutions.

At the same time, I feel quite nervous though. For 11 years I have familiarizing myself in a normal school environment. 5 years in secondary school I see the same people everyday. Now, COLLEGE. A whole new start. Graduating from secondary school isn't the end after all, it is a whole new beginning of life. Also taking yourself to a whole new level. Graduating from secondary school indeed was sad for most of us. But the bright side is that it teaches us to face change, getting us ready to face the real side of society.

2012 was really really great, I won't deny that regardless of all the crap all the Form 5s had to go through for SPM. Come to think of it, I've done lots of things. I'm getting pretty lazy doing my back-in-time posts, so I'll just brief through events that happened throughout the year.

MAY
First time out with my besties for the year. I think. Went for a movie in Queensbay, if I'm not mistaken I think it was Street Dance 2.

Halfway through our movie, this is what happened, my seat started shaking and it really really pissed me off and thinking the people behind me kicking my seat in front. but then everybody started to get curious turning heads here and there. A few people even evacuated the cinema, eventually we followed as well. It was packed with people out there. THERE WAS A  FRIGGIN TREMOR IN QUEENSBAY! Got out of the mall packed with people outside the mall. All shops were even closed. Even later that day everybody started posting photos of the crowd outside malls on Instagram. To make matters worse, we missed half of our movie :(

Highlight of the trip, ANGKOR WAT. Just one picture. I have too many pictures of temples that could make this post endless. Dad said he wanted to go there (He's a Buddhist) before it's too late, as in BEFORE HE DIES. There was a lot of walking, it was HOT, not surprising since it's already hot here in Malaysia.

One day after the trip, went for the CHUNG LING GATHERING. yes I know it's pretty crazy to attend an event like this one day after you travel, well at least it was crazy for me.

Usually I sing when I go nuts and hyper in class and just randomly fool around by singing along with my friends, but I never thought I find myself singing as a performance in front of a crowd of strangers. We didn't exactly do so well cause we were pretty nervous and it was our first time doing this, but we had a good experience. :D
