Belfast Christmas Market

What I love about the UK is that they put in so much effort to make the environment as festive as possible. Christmas lights are up at the city center. and best of all their Christmas Market. Unfortunately they won't have their Christmas market til end of the year, but tomorrow will be the last day :( it's basically like pasar malam back in Malaysia except the food is diffferent.. and Christmas lights are everywhereeee.

I've been there like 4 times and til now I still can't try everything they have there. :( it's kind sad though. one trip you could easily spend like 10 to 20 pounds maybe..? But the atmosphere is just really nice. Although back in Malaysia there are Christmas decorations in shopping malls to make it more festive but it's just feel more festive around the UK.

Happy festive atmosphere at Belfast City Hall

So proud of this candid I took. Happy people makin burgers. nom nom. 4 pounds for a burger.

This guy's mask easily blends into the background lol. Almost as if looks like he's not in the photo nyahahh!

 Sharon .

FEELIN' CHRISTMASSY YET???

nomnom

Baguette for 4 pounds.

Potatoes, these are just okayy, I dont like the mayonnaise though.

Churros!!! These are just too goodd.

Gwen

Mango Beer. 5 pounds. Alcohol here is cheaper than in Malaysia. Like what sorcery is this lolol.

Gwen has this new small obsession for Christmas ornaments. So we got one for each other and wrote small notes on it. My first ornament exchange :D

Not to forget, Christmas is coming soon, even though some of you out there might be spending Christmas alone, remember, Have positive thoughts. It's not a bad thing spending Christmas alone. Do whatever you can to make the best of it. Christmas is all about being happy.

Wishing all of you out there a merry Christmas and Happy Holidays :)

More of Belfast

My sincere apologies for the hiatus. Turns out going up to uni you'll never be as free as you thought it would be haha. Christmas holidays start today now, so YAY! But sadly, there's exams right after the Christmas holidays. But thank God we finally have got a break. For the past few weeks I had rush drafts for assignments. Also this is the first time I have to encounter coursework for studying. There's no assignments for coursework during A levels cause' its basically exam-based. Handed in my final assignment yesterday and I felt super super super relieved! More time to catch up on some me-time and also some studying. Due to a lot of assignments I really haven't have any time to catch up on some brief revision. :(

Changing stream is hard as hell. As a former Science student I realized I have so much catching up to do. Hopefully I'll make it. and also hopefully I won't regret it. *sigh*

I took so many pictures and some photos aren't really in use :( and I'm so eager so eager to post them lol.

Cafe Nero is literally in every corner of Belfast. The city center has like four or five perhaps... ?

St. George's market. I can't even. This is so so so so so many for just one stall

Sharon's Birthday dinner. Asians being asians. Eating Chinese food makes us realize how much we miss home.

Botanic Gardens

 Simon's Christmas dinner at Bastille.

Big Big feast with my housemates. A lot of my housemates are from Malaysia and so we decided to plan a big big feast with the others. One of my housemate from Hongkong wanted to try out Bak Kut Teh cause' she kinda has a thing for food. hahaha. We ended up cooking so many things for everyone. Including RENDANG. nomnom.

\
Berries is love. I have an obsession for berries. and I'm so glad they sell so any good ones here. Berries sold in Malaysia is usually kind of expensive and disappointingly sour. And the good thing is that you don't have to cut them into pieces to eat them hahah!

More photos on my wall. *clapclap* Costed my a lot to print them out though :( The wall beside my bed is just to blank and empty. So I decided to put them up, my room looks less depressing after that nyhhaaha.

HALLOWEEN, never in a million years would I actually thought of putting on Halloween makeup, like that. HAHA. I'm not that Pro unfortunately, Sharon helped me out with this look. haha

Sharon and Gary. School was selling Christmas hats for charity.

With our Econs teacher, she looks like our age huh. hahahah!

Went to support Onn Sun playing saxophone in a band.
Zhao Ling :D

McClay Library. The sculpture is just like :O

What's awesome that your library has a cafe inside. I've been coming here to study a lot these days. But what's scary is that this library is like a real library. Like the whole place is super super super quiet. Back then in inti no one actually gives a shit we could make all the noise we want in the library. hahaa.

The winter makes me hungry. No matter how full I get I get hungry easily again. :(

McD's Bacon roll. You can't find this in Malaysia :(

I forgot the name of this. This is during Genevieve's birthday at Conor, Stranmillis.

Whoever invented this is a genius haha!

Bacon wrap at Bird Cage, Stranmillis road. 5 pounds. For a meal like this it's kind of worth it. *thumbs up*

 Breakfast at French Village.

There's more to come. Stay tuned.
