Christmas

I know I'm already late for this, but MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE. Christmas was really awesome this year, not only all my relatives came back to Penang from KL and Seremban and Australia, moments were spent together like it's a once in a lifetime experience.

As usual I spend my Christmas every year with my mother's side of the family. My mom has like 10 siblings so on special occasions every year it's super super lau juak. The best part is I get to see all my cousins. I dont get to see them often regardless that some of them actually stay in penang cause' some of them either live outside Penang, or we're just very very busy with school and work.

My world with my cousins is completely different compared to my world with my friends. Since I come from a family that uses English as mother tongue (including my father's side of the family), hanging out with my cousins can be completely different compared to my friends who speaks 100% Chinese.
Interests can be different when you speak in different languages. Back then before I had more friends I was like according my friends , very very ANG MOH who doesn't really listen to chinese songs/korean songs(anything asian in general) I feel very left out at times, cause I can't really keep up with the conversation. Cause it could be hard to share your own interests with other people from a different background than yours.
Eventually I got influenced by the others by listening to more Korean songs and a little bit of Chinese songs. That's mainly how I managed to improve my social life. and  also to widen my interests lol
BUT,  I still don't wanna give up my Ang Moh side though. xD

Christmas Eve
My uncle had his wedding with only close family members, not like those big weddings where you meet all the weird relatives you've never met before. It's better this way, if you'd ask me. Saves a lot of money too.

Outfit theme for the night : Kebaya
Lol my sister is so awkward in the picture, the only one out of place haha.

Back then, my grandmother opens a shop and makes Kebaya as a business. If I'm not mistaken i think all the Kebaya worn above are all made by my grandma. All of my aunties including my mom have to rush to my grandma's shop to help her out everyday after school.

Thank God, I have Amelia who didn't wear Kebaya with me. Cause' we both don't have one xD

Uh-Oh Closet

My friends JXHIA and JEAN TEEN started out a business by selling clothes online. So I helped them out by doing a photo shoot at my house for the pieces they have available, not to mention this is my first time photo shooting for people :) . Since Jxhia lives like 10 to 15 minutes away from my house, she came over and got those photos done.

Photos all taken by me. My model, Jxhia.

Miniature photography :) haha

After SPM Vacation. Day 3

It's Bali babehh! My dad's intention was to go to Bali instead of Singapore. But finally we made out decision to stop by Singapore first before going to Bali.

Back to my point, flew to Bali early in the morning. It was freaking hot when we arrived, I know the whether is very similar to Malaysia's but it was scorching hot like crazy. Luckily since I'm a Malaysian, i can pretty much understand Indonesian. And it's a little easier to communicate, kind of.

Our hotel, AYANA RESORT, Jimbaran

The workers are so nice, once we arrived they were like :" WELCOME TO BALI" and put this on our necks. haha

Served us complimentary drinks as well. Now THIS is life haha.

Art is EVERYWHERE in Bali.

It's so awesome that they provide spring water instead of the ordinary plastic-bottled mineral water like any other hotel

I started playing with this and my dad snapped at me saying I came all the way to Bali just for this.

headin' out.

Lunch after that.
Sis.

Done with lunch, then we took a stroll round the resort, it's one freakin' big resort I tell you. The resort is actually located on a cliff, So if you wanna go to beaches you need to climb down flights of stairs, the horrific part is climbing back up.

Dad and Sis.

The beaches there are really really nice, however the waves are pretty strong around here compared to Malaysian beaches.

Went back to the hotel to rest, then I started finishing the last few episodes of Innocent Man. Then got ready for dinner.

I noticed every time when we enter a restaurant in not only just the resort but everywhere else they provide wet towels before meals. Refreshes you every time you sweat or feeling extremely sleepy before meals. Whoever invented this idea is a genius!

The food here was a little disappointing. Very similar to the food in Malaysia though.

That's it for Day 3. Day 4 and 5 comin up. Stay tuned.
