Long weekend.

Mock exam ended last Friday. like finally. Stressed out too much til I'm starting to encounter pimple issues on my face. Fml.

So yeah, on the very last day mock exam ended dad decided to let me, my sis and my mom go over to Singapore for a visit. I was like, YESSS. Going to Singapore is starting become a thing for me cause' we go there few times a year. 

Took an evening flight. Arrived, met up Dad at the airport. Checked in to Capri Hotel, Changi City Point. So far among all the hotels I stayed at, this hotel by far is the BEST. 

 

I love it how pretty much the entire hotel is made of pure art.

Super convenient right. Just one walk outside and you could step into a decent restaurant. However, we had our lunch and dinner outside the area xD Noob die.

Had dinner at Din Tai Fung after that. No pics over dinner unfortunately, was too tired to flip out my DSLR. I've had a long day kay. lol

Day 2.

SHOPPING DAY.Instead of going to Orchard Road I wanna go to a flea market to get nice clothes at a cheaper price. Sometimes I can't get anything I want at Orchard cause' everything is too expensive. Shops with prestigious brands everywhere you go. Then sis suggested that we go to Bugis street since that's where one of Singapore's famous blogger, QiuQiu got some of her clothes at affordable prices. And I have to say, it is way way way cheaper than I thought. I think I pretty much bought whatever I saw. No lah I'm kidding lah. 

But we went to Orchard road anyway. Cause' Mom and Dad could only find clothes suitable for them there. Got so bored to the extent til I started camwhoring lol.

There's actually more just that they aren't mine. Mom and Sis bought tees, those that G-dragon wore in his music videos. I was too lazy to take pics of those. :( regret nowwww.

Dinner, with Dad's boss at Daniel Boulud Bistro, Marina Bay.

Didn't know the guy I see in AFC commercials had his own restaurant in Singapore. Only thought celebrity chefs had their own restaurants somewhere beyond Malaysia. Food was super super good!!

Good thing about coming to Singapore you could try different restaurants, those you couldn't find in Penang or maybe around Malaysia in fact.

We didn't really go out on the following day. Cause' both of us were really tired. Slacked at home. Like how we used to do back then during primary school. Now I think of it since both us grew up together i see how time passes by so fast that I couldn't really believe that we're already 18. Steph and I met when we were 5 years old in kindergarten. She moves around a lot. From M'sia to the US, then back to Penang and then KL and finally settled down in Singapore. 

It was super unexpected that we just decided to bake cup cakes after lunch. I haven't baked in a long time and I suck at working in the kitchen. But her mom helped us out a little bit.

Malaysia Day!

Public holiday on a Monday is like one of the best things ever. Didn't really waste my time slacking at home so I went out with the lenglui, Jxhia, REALLY MISS HANGIN OUT WITH YA! Did some catching up and some shopping.

The camera is AMAZINGGG. It smooths out my skin and no pimples visible! 

Unbelievable. Usually I had to edit all of my photos whether or not I used my phone or my DSLR. cause like I said my pimples are getting a little worse now. This camera just works magic.

That's it for the long weekend. Will be back after AS. Will have to get myself back on track again.

Out of randomness update.

Hello everybodeh! I just felt like blogging today. (All of the sudden?)
I obviously have failed doing some my school holiday resolution. Sem break ended quite some time ago and I have kept this blog super dead for over a month. Well done Kim.

A lot has happened that I don't even know where to start. Mock exam is coming in 3 weeks :( and i still feel very unprepared. WHY LA WHYYY. But no fret, gotta study real hard. Targeting for straight A's during my AS exam :) Wish me luck, cause this is gonna be a tough one.


Happy to announce that MY BRAND NEW CAR FINALLY ARRIVED (like over a month ago xD)

Perodua Myvi. I know there's nothing much to show off about since it's typical a local car. But the quality of the car is better than I thought. The accessories are kind of cool. The radio comes with a USB port and it has BLUETOOTH. Since I find music very very essential to me while I'm driving these stuff are just perfect for me *thumbs up*

Mom allowed me to drive myself to college only a month after the car arrived. I was like WTH, I can't go home early? She told me she was worried about me driving alone to college since it takes a long drive. I had a lady driver to send me home everyday after class, it's basically car pooling cause she picks up kids from school to their homes as well. So every time it takes me like an hour to reach home.

I got stubborn anyways, I drove out alone with Li Chin and Ree Wen for lunch once. haha Sorry mom xD

FYI, I still suck at parking my car. There's slight improvement but still ain't good. For some reason I can't make the car straight when it's in the slot. 

Gotta work on that. :'(

Birthday surprise from college mates. Usually all of us would squeeze into one car to go out of lunch but it got weird that we went for lunch this time with two cars. It got even more weird that Cai Ying, Shyn Yih and Sarah came super late. Then after lunch the waitress showed up at our table with a birthday cake. lol Thank you so much guys, Felt super touched. :')

I was up quite late last night when I saw an update for instagram with their new video feature. And I thought, okayy... cause' I wasn't really into shooting videos. I don't like filming myself on video in general, had no idea why. xD

But instagram made video filming real easy, and I gotta say I'm kind of impressed. Video cuts can be made by just letting go the shutter. Ain't it cooooll??
 Best of all, I could see Xiaxue's baby Dash in actionnnnn. Makes him even cuter than he is in Xiaxue's insta photos! I also love it where Insta gets you to pick your own filter for the video.

SCHOOL HOLIDAY RESOLUTIONS

I'm trying to make it a point that I won't be lying around the house doing nothing this holiday. 3 weeks is a really long time.

So here are some of my resolutions I wish to accomplish during the holidays, at least I have goals set up for myself to avoid myself from being bored and wasting time.

1. Catch up with my Further Maths
I can honestly say I didn't really put in enough effort for my further maths. Instead before exams I've put in more effort in Pure Maths cause' it was easier. So yeah, going hardcore in math this holiday.

2. Master my parking skills. 
Yes, I STILL SUCK AT PARKING. After driving my mother's Mitsubishi Pajero for a few months, I still CANNOT park my car properly. Maybe that's because the damn car to so friggin big that I had to be extra careful. Plus, it isn't really easy to drive a four-wheeled-drive for a newbie driver like me. Speaking of cars, I'll be getting my own car in maybe a few weeks time, a SMALLER ONE! (finally!) Will updating on that as well.

3. Finish all my new Sophie Kinsella books
As some of you may know I bought some Madeleine Wickham books using the 1Malaysia Vouchers few months ago, but since I am super busy with tests and all the shitty exams I never had time to start on all of my new novels. I SUPER SUPER LOVE SOPHIE KINSELLA'S BOOKS that's why I'll read them first before the others.

4. Go to Singapore.
Okay, I do that almost every year. But this one's optional, this one depends on whether my dad allows me to go. *fingers crossed*

5. Finish watching HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER
Finished season 1 and 2 already, now halfway through Season 3. I was even too impatient to watch Season 8's finale to see who the mother is. Upcoming season is the last season already :(

6. Finish Glee season 3. 
I stopped watching Glee since last year, or maybe before that. Then I got the new episodes from my friends. SO YAY! Glee marathon during the holidays.

7. Go shopping (Maybe?)
Optional resolution :D I like shopping :D

8.Go K-drama crazy : WINTER, THE WIND BLOWS
I started watching it few months ago, then I stopped watching cause I got lazy to open my computer, and there was exams lol

9. Lastly, BLOG MORE. 
This blog needs more life into it! I love blogging, really,but I just need to get motivated a little bit.

Hopefully, I won't procrastinate as much as I used to.

Superhero Fiesta.

This blog has been super super super abandoned for like more than a month now. Gosh I really don't have the motivation to blog anymore. But I'm trying my best though, or else I wouldn't be here already. Lots of things has happened for the past month. Finals for this semester just ended last Friday. And i gotta say I'm super super relieved, even though some subjects nearly killed me to the brink. Got my Further maths results today though. Expected results but it wasn't very very satisfying, mainly it's because I stressed out like crazy few hours before the exam til I nearly cried, seriously. I've never been THAT nervous for an exam in my entire life. It kinda affected me during the exam. It took some time for me to recover while I'm taking my test, thank God I managed to answer questions on topics I've worked on. Sadly, topics I didn't cover properly didn't make it for me to answer.

I know I might be one of the most irresponsible bloggers on earth.I was really really busy lately. I have tons of pictures waiting to made good use. 

Let's start off with the last day of exam. Went to Chian Chyi's house right after my last paper. Super hero Fiesta starts at night and we have hours before the party starts. So went to CC's house to chill because I couldn't go home due to transport problems.  

This gal drove us out to 7 eleven for ice cream. LOL! Good to know I'm her second passenger. haha

Went back to INTI to find Jia ying. Then went over to her house to kill time, We seriously had so much time before the party started haha!

Yes, task accomplished. Sem break is next week. No class for 3 entire weeks! Woots. I guess I won't be updating much on events that happened long ago. I'll only go for recent events I suppose.
